Another Crisis To Take Advantage Of?

It seems that while President Obama was speaking about holding BP fully responsible for the worst oil spill in history, and that his boot was on the neck of BP, the House was busy working their magic. Not wanting to miss the opportunity to take advantage of a "good crisis", they voted and passed a bill that would raise the tax on gas from 8 cents a barrel to 34 cents a barrel. That is quadrupled! Do you understand? Big government and big corporation will always take care of each other, and we end up paying the price for this cleanup in the long run. And late on Friday of a long weekend - what an opportunity to sneak this through without too much notice. The Senate will have to review and revise this when they come back, but does anyone have any doubt that we will be paying the price for this?

Ron Paul - My Plan For A Freedom President

I wanted to share this from Ron Paul- this is the first person who has come up with a plan that makes sense to fix the system. I am not as sure about his military stance, but the rest of it is pretty reasonable. And if we did regroup and bring our military home from all over the world, maybe we can save ourselves instead of trying to save the world. I am afraid that it is coming down to an either/or situation.

Climate Change - Cap and Trade Legislation/Regulation

I have been attending political functions at the local and state level and have spoken to several candidates with the specific question of what they know about the sustainability philosophy and Agenda 21. Not too many are familiar with it, which absolutely frightens me. Cap and Trade is being discussed right this very minute in Washington. If it passes, the result will be immediate "pricing" on carbon credits. What this means is, since May13th's mandate passed down by the Environmental Protection Agency to limit CO2 emissions by power plants, landfills, and larger industrial plants to no more than 100,000 tons per year, if these plants exceed this limit, they will be required to purchase carbon credits to offset their excessive emissions. Once the pricing is established, carbon credits will be bought and sold at exchanges (with transaction fees charged by these exchanges). Countries, corporations and individuals will be purchasing these carbon credits to be exchanged between each other as needed. At the outset, many carbon credits will be given or subsidized to less developed countries as incentive to NOT develop their country's infrastructure, such as no deforestation, energy production, manufacturing, landfills, etc. This will result in keeping poor countries poor (except for the money they make on selling their "free" carbon credits) and in the developed countries such as the USA the cost companies will have to pay to buy these credits will be reflected in your energy bill, probably as a single line item, but also on everything you buy that is manufactured. Even the President said that energy costs would necessarily skyrocket as a result of this cap and trade program. Estimates show the increase would be about 70% on your electric bill alone. Please let everyone you know check out this information and fight this bill! Everyone with a junior high school education knows that CO2 is NOT A POISONOUS TOXIN! And if they were really worried about poisoning the planet, wouldn't they try to ban CO2 emissions altogether instead of  figuring out a way to make money on the deal? Just saying...

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT BEEN KEEPING TRACK...

the U. S. Debt clock officially passed the $13 TRILLION mark yesterday!

New Jersey's Governor Chris Christie

At a town hall meeting in New Jersey, Governor Chris Christie was challenged by a teacher, Rita Wilson, about the cuts he is making in the state. She said told him if she was paid $3.00 per child, she would make $83,000.00 per year. He said if she did not like it, she could leave teaching. In a related post by Erick Erickson at RedState they found only one Rita Wilson who was a teacher in that school district, and her salary was $86,000.00! I don't know if that is true, but if it is, like Erick said, hopefully she is not a math teacher!

BRITON'S FEARS TURN TO DOUBTS

Global warming proponents are encountering increasing doubt and resistance from more and more people across the globe, according to this latest article in the New York Times on May 24, 2010 showing the decrease in the number of people in England and Germany who believe that anthropogenic climate change actually exists. Let's hope this doubt continues to grow so we can put a stop to the globalization of energy restrictions and the cap and trade scheme.

ROGER REVELLE - THE ORIGIN OF GLOBAL WARMING THEORY

I found this video from journalist and meteorologist John Coleman disclosing the connection between Roger Revelle, the scientist who first posited the theory of Global Warming, and Al Gore, who was his student at Harvard. Sadly, in his later years Dr. Revelle realized the error of his theory, that the science was flawed, but at that point Al Gore dismissed him as a senile old man. Al Gore continues to refuse to debate anyone on this issue. I wonder why?

One of Those Moments - Mark Steyn - National Review Online

I am deeply concerned about this administration and their obvious inability to define our enemies. I am afraid of the naive belief of the President and his advisers that their superior diplomatic abilities will be able to persuade our enemies to stop attacking us, to stop terrorizing us, to stop their jihad against us - when they have repeatedly reminded us that their goal is our total annihilation. I watched as Eric Holder was unable to even say the words "radical Islamists". If they can not even speak the name of our enemy, what does that say about them? Is is because of political correctness, denial of the facts, or a purposeful exercise in weakening our nation in the eyes of the world? Why won't our leaders support and defend our country?  I want a leader who is brave and unflinching in the face of our enemies. One who vows he will do whatever it takes to protect this nation. 9-11 will forever be an open wound. What will it take for the administration to understand this? What was done to Daniel Pearl was an unspeakable horror! These terrorists are barbarians - their purpose is pure evil! As an American I take these actions personally. This latest embarrassment, so eloquently described in One of Those Moments - Mark Steyn - National Review Online, is further evidence that our President does not have the sensibility to be able to relate to the average American citizen. He continues to show us that he is so far removed from understanding what we are feeling, from what we want and what we need. We elected a leader with no experience, no loyalty to our Constitution or our country, and apparently has an agenda that he plans to ram through against the will of the majority of our citizens. We must work hard to take control of the Senate and House in November, and start to undo the damage that has been done to this country in the last year and a half, before it is too late.

GREAT VIDEO - BE PROUD OF BEING AN AMERICAN

BRITAIN'S CONSERVATIVE PARTY MANIFESTO

With the election of the CONSERVATIVE PARTY in Great Britain, I have found this manifesto that explains their position on energy and climate change, and what programs they are planning to put in place. Please understand the GLOBAL effect of this agenda! Everything is urgent! Where have we heard that before? Do what you can to let everyone you know what is happening. This is fake science and a fake crisis, with the end goal of restricting population growth and redistributing wealth.

THINK BIG WORK SMALL

This is an interesting daily podcast THINK BIG WORK SMALLfor people in the mortgage and real estate industry that provides updates on what is happening in those markets around the country, and especially what is going on in Washington with new legislation.  I have been following it for a few months now. I highly recommend it to anyone in the business or anyone who wants to know what is going on in the mortgage market. They provide a link to sign in to receive daily video podcasts.

Regarding one topic in this video, where Nancy Pelosi says you can pursue your dreams, that you are not tied down or job locked because of the new health care insurance reform, I have a comment. I have seen this played a number of times, and it seems that some reporters have jumped to the conclusion that she was saying "no problem, your health care is free". Unless there was more to her speech, she did not say it would be free. She just said it was transportable, that you are now able to keep it even if you do not remain with the same employer. I do not approve of the health care reform bill, but I also do not like it when people interpret or jump to conclusions about something that was just not said. If anyone has more of the footage where she said it would be free, please provide it to me. I have looked and not been able to find anything more than just the 37 second sound byte.

DEMOCRATS SAY CLIMATEGATE POLITICIZING SCIENCE

This article appeared in HUMAN EVENTS today by Connie Hair, where The House Energy Independence and Global Warming Select Committee's Democrat leadership actually held a hearing yesterday to complain about what they called the “politicization” of climate science in the wake of the Climategate scandal.

Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.), ranking Republican on the committee, cited some of the more damning Climategate emails at the hearing. Read this article that reveals some of these emails from the scientists who were working on this issue and how they were unable to validate and corroborate the position of the IPCC on the "global warming" crisis.

Agenda 21 - Are People Beginning to Get It?

I found this interesting commentary from Joan McDaniel regarding Californians finally beginning to realize the size and scope and COST of the sustainability agenda being pursued through Cap and Trade in this article Morph City - Alert: Agenda 21 Global Warming Freeze  and the petition they have signed to freeze any action on AB 32 (their Cap and Trade bill signed in 2006 to become effective in 2012) will be on the ballot in November.

E.P.A. CONTEST - Why regulation is good for us

I TRULY LOVE AMERICA AND THE INDOMITABLE SPIRIT AND HUMOR OF ITS CITIZENS! A little while ago the Environmental Protection Agency challenged the American public to submit videos in a contest showing how regulations are good for us! Well, being up to the challenge, there have been quite a few fantastic videos appearing on You-Tube, and I would like to share a few with you. They are so creative and amusing. I hope you think so, too! If you want to comment on your favorite, and share them with your friends, perhaps we can get many more people to view them and raise their awareness of the vast authority that has been given to the E.P.A. and what it means to each of us if Cap and Trade (or whatever they are calling it today) gets passed. Knowledge is power, and the more people who are armed with knowledge the more powerful we become.

So, please view these video submissions, have a little fun, and let me know which one you like best. By the end of May I will count the votes - under U.N. supervision, of course - and let you know the results.

VIDEO # 1

VIDEO # 2

As I find more of these videos I will post them on my blog. If you find one you would like to submit, or make your own that you would like to see posted, let me know in the comment section.

Thanks. Have fun and enjoy!

MICHELLE OBAMA'S FIGHT AGAINST CHILDHOOD OBESITY

I am sure a lot of you have been following the news regarding the First Lady's campaign to subject our children to BMI measurements from the age of 2 to 18. I, too, am concerned with this issue. However, I do not want the government involved in such a personal issue. Yes, I am for healthier foods in the schools. Who wouldn't be? I know a lot of us are in the 50 something age group or older. Do you remember during President Kennedy's administration the President's Physical Fitness Program? We had to be able to do 50 sit ups in 2 minutes or less, run the 100 yr dash in, I don't remember, maybe under 10 secs? And some other activities which escape me at the moment. When did that stop? I would love to sponsor an initiative in our school district whereby this program was offered once again. I know we will not be able to force it on anyone, it would be completely voluntary. But with parents working and kids sitting at home all day after school, I believe that may be contributing to the increase in the weight of our kids. They have no physical activity at all unless their parents are conscientious enough to enroll their kids to be engaged in after school activities. I dragged my daughter to soccer, softball and eventually volleyball, where she excelled to the point of getting a full ride college scholarship. I was allowed to play outside all day if I wanted to and only had to be home by sundown. I rode my bike everywhere. I HATED gym, as I am sure most of us did, but at least we got to work out and move our bodies. Is anyone in? Let me know. Maybe together we can accomplish this for our kids, or in my case now, my grandkids.

Good Cop, Bad Cop - Stephen Spruiell - National Review Online

In a followup to my post yesterday regarding the new EPA regulations, an excellent article appeared on the National Review today Good Cop, Bad Cop - Stephen Spruiell - National Review Online that explains the mechanism that allows the "evil carbon emitters" to defray the costs incurred by exceeding their mandated "cap" on emissions by trading carbon credits. Of course, we, the American citizens, will all experience "skyrocketing" energy bills, in the words of our President himself. Unless, of course, we are fortunate enough to be the ones who are entitled to subsidies. Does no one see this for the hoax that it is?

CARTOON FROM 1948 - YOU MUST WATCH THIS!

Nicking Our Public Discourse - Mark Steyn - National Review Online

This tippy-toeing of our government around the obvious attacks on our country by Radical Islamic Extremist elements is an absolute disgrace. The fact that our leaders will not or can not verbalize or acknowledge that we are in a war with these terrorists does not give this writer much hope that we will be able to defeat this aggressor. The more we appear too afraid to acknowledge to the world that we are under attack (even if they say it is an attempt on their part to be " politically correct") the weaker we seem to our enemies. Yes, they are our enemies. I am sick and tired of hearing that we should not jump to hasty conclusions. I refuse to believe that their initial consideration is not Islamic Terrorism. If it is not, then we are in more trouble than we think. We  are hearing repeatedly from the administration that these incidents are  "isolated" or "lone wolf" occurrences.  Why would that be the first response? We all know by now that these attacks are more than likely inspired by Islamic Extremists. I would not even care if that was not mentioned if they would at least not insult our intelligence with this distracting and insulting spin. I will make an observation, though, that with the increase of American citizens involved in these heinous acts, we probably will not see many "suicide" bombers. It seems these individuals are not quite as committed to the cause to be willing to die for it. They are just willing to kill for it.

So now we have allowed several Islamic nations into the Human Rights Council at the U.N. What are we to expect from this? Acquiescence to their Sharia laws and horrendous treatment of women without question? When will this stop? When will we wake up? We must act to reign in the power of the Muslim nation in this country and the world. Pediatricians here are actually considering performing cliteridectomies on young girls here instead of sending them to Islamic countries who perform this genital mutilation under barbaric conditions. Where is the outrage of the women's rights groups? Where is the outrage of the U.N. Human Rights Council? Where is the outrage of fathers and mothers who see this happening and remain silent?

We must draw a line in the sand immediately. We need to extract ourselves from the United Nations alliance and insist that they leave our country. We must not allow them to build a mosque near Ground Zero, which they are planning to open on 9/11/11. This is an insult and an outrage!

Mark Steyn is right on in his column Nicking Our Public Discourse - Mark Steyn - National Review Online. We need to pay attention to the insidious and now more and more aggressive insertion of this radical culture into our society. We are showing weakness in the name of diversity and acceptance. But they do not plan to blend into our society, they plan to impose their sick and twisted beliefs on all of us. They consider us infidels and want us all in servitude of Islam, or DEAD! I want my President to acknowledge that he understands that, and that he will defend us and preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States of America! Can we at least expect that from our leader? I don't know about you, but I am taking these attacks personally. When will our President?

WE NEED MORE MEN LIKE CHRISTIE

Gov Christie calls S-L columnist thin-skinned for inquiring about his 'confrontational tone'

CONGRESS SHIRKING THEIR RESPONSIBILITY

Will no one come forward and address this very serious situation? We The People must put unbearable pressure on our representatives to slash and cut the budget for FY2011. I say if they do not do their basic duty to put forward a budget for next year, we vote them ALL out. We pay these people a good sum of money (not to mention all of the funds for their staffing and expenses) and I read today that
CONGRESS WILL NOT PASS A BUDGET THIS YEAR! in The Morning Bell from The Heritage Foundation. What are they there for if not to assure us that they are keeping our country in good financial shape? I do not know about you, but I am ready for some serious cuts to our budget across the board. I am willing to forego some of the entitlements the government provides to get our finances in shape. I do not want to pass this massive burden on to my children and grandchildren. They need to cut payroll taxes immediately and keep the Bush tax cuts in place. We have to get America working again. That is the only way we can crawl out of this mess. More public jobs will never be the answer. The private sector is always the one factor that is key to improving the economy - more jobs equals more spending equals more jobs equals more wealth for all.

We have a bunch of arrogant self-interested politicians in our government who are more concerned with their "careers" than with actually working and serving "We The People". I propose that if a budget does not get passed this year, that all of their salaries are cut to $1.00 each until they present a balanced budget. What did Obama say? At some point he thinks you may have made too much money?" In the case of Congress I agree. If the CEO's of large corporations can take a $1.00 salary and get bonuses when they turn a profit, then so can Congress!

OBAMA'S "INHERITED" BUDGET BLAMED ON BUSH

The Washington Post babbled again today about Obama inheriting a huge deficit from Bush. Amazingly enough,...... A lot of people swallow this nonsense. So once more, a short civics lesson.

Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress, and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democratic Party. They controlled the budget process for FY 2008 and FY 2009, as well as FY 2010 and FY 2011. In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.

For FY 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the FY 2009 budgets.

And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete FY 2009. Let's remember what the deficits looked like during that period: (below)

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the FY 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets. If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself.

In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.

GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS EXPLAINED

Here is a very simply stated informative video explaining how we got to this global financial crisis. I would like to add one VERY IMPORTANT point to this - at the critical time when the investors ran out of home buyers and wanted more, along came the deregulation of the mortgage industry (around 1999 under the Clinton administration) which gradually became more and more lenient and eventually did not require ANY documentation of the borrowers ability to repay their debt or even verify their income. They were counting on the home prices continuing to increase and if there were some defaults they could foreclose and sell for a profit. This is much more about the deregulation of the mortgage industry encouraged by FNMA and FreddieMac.

E.P.A. UNVEILS RULE TO REGULATE GREENHOUSE GASES

May 13, 2010

E.P.A. Unveils Rule to Regulate Greenhouse Gases

By SINDYA N. BHANOO

The Environmental Protection Agency unveiled a final rule on Thursday for regulating major emitters of greenhouse gases, like coal-fired power plants, under the Clean Air Act.

Starting in July 2011, new sources of at least 100,000 tons of greenhouse gases a year and any existing plants that increase emissions by 75,000 tons will have to seek permits, the agency said.

In the first two years, the E.P.A. expects to issue about 550 permits covering the coal-fired plants, refineries, cement manufacturers, solid waste landfills and other large polluters, said Gina McCarthy, the agency’s assistant administrator.

She said that the rule would apply to sites accounting for about 70 percent of the nation’s greenhouse gas emissions. “We think this is smart rule-making and we think it’s good government,” she said.

Last fall the E.P.A. had indicated that the bar would be set at 25,000 tons a year, which would have imposed the permit requirement on smaller entities like family farms and large apartment buildings. “What we realized at the 25,000 level was that we were going to be actually reaching sources that we did not intend to reach,” Ms. McCarthy said.

The announcement came a day after a climate and energy bill was introduced in the Senate that would effectively shift regulatory power over greenhouse gases to Congress from the E.P.A.

Last year the the agency issued a finding that carbon dioxide and other climate-altering gases posed a threat to human health and welfare. Under the Clean Air Act, that gave it the authority to issue regulatory measures like the one announced on Thursday.

The Obama administration made clear last year that the finding was intended to goad Congress into superseding the agency and adopting emissions limits of its own. The E.P.A.’s regulatory move faces stiff opposition from industry groups.

Senator John F. Kerry, Democrat of Massachusetts, one of the two sponsors of the climate bill, seized on Thursday’s announcement to argue for the urgency of passing it. “Today we went from ‘wake-up call’ to ‘last call,’ ” he warned in a statement.

In a competing move, Senator Lisa Murkowski, Republican of Alaska, introduced a resolution in January that would strip the E.P.A. of its power to regulate greenhouse gas emissions.

She argued that allowing the agency to regulate emissions could devastate the American economy. “The E.P.A. has made very clear that while they might start at the 75,000, they plan to ratchet that down in ensuing years to catch even the smallest emitters,” a spokesman for Ms. Murkowski, Robert Dillon, said Thursday. “It doesn’t matter how fast you boil a lobster — it’s still cooked.”

But environmental groups praised the new rule as a smart move that conveys to Congress that the agency’s goal is to regulate large emitters rather than serve as a vengeful force that financially burdens small businesses.

“It’s clear evidence that the E.P.A. is saying, ‘We are no rogue agency,’ ” said Frank O’Donnell, president of the advocacy group Clean Air Watch. “They are saying, ‘We’re only going to be looking at the very biggest polluters.’ ”

Next year the E.P.A. is to begin another rule-making process to phase in more permits and determine whether some smaller sources of emissions can permanently be excluded from the process.

SOMETHING TO CONSIDER AS WE VOTE ON A PROPOSED 1% SALES TAX INCREASE THIS YEAR

Dallas light rail has its own problems

by Randy Bright

Last week my article was about the success side of DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit), but this week I want to share the other side the story.

My interest in DART was prompted by a gentleman who did not agree with my opinions about light rail.
One of the reasons that he stated as proof that DART was successful was its high ridership rate, about 80,000 per day, according to him. However, one source stated that the number of passenger trips per day was actually around 200,000, but that most of these were carried by DART’s bus system.DART is not just a rail system. In fact, light rail is just a part of a comprehensive network of bus, commuter rail and light rail.

And DART does not serve all of the Dallas area, but only those surrounding suburbs that have chosen to be a part of the system. Besides Dallas, there are 12 suburban cities that are members, all of which have been members since 1983.

No other cities have joined since then, even though there are 26 others that are eligible to join. Those have declined for several reasons; some have rejected membership by the voters, some are unable to join because an additional sales tax would cause them to exceed the maximum allowed by state law, and others have joined other transit systems.

Assuming my friend’s estimate of 80,000 riders per day is correct, and assuming that the total is a conservative 2 million, where does that place the percentage of the population that uses light rail?

Around 4 percent.

Other reports I found indicated that ridership rose and fell with gas prices, which means that when gas prices were low, riders preferred to drive.

One report in the Dallas Business Journal indicated that “despite $1 billion in taxpayer spending aimed at reducing traffic congestion, the number of people using DART transit to get to work dropped from 40,000 per day in 1990 to 36,900 per day in 2000” and that while supporters of DART say that rents and property values increase near DART facilities, “Critics of DART argue that these increased rents and revenues are simply a natural result of the government taking money from a wide area and channeling it into concentrated locations, namely train stations.”

DART does not collect enough fares to operate and maintain its system, so it relies heavily on a local sales tax to subsidize it.

Three member cities (Carrollton, Farmers Branch and Rowlett) have paid DART hundreds of millions in sales tax revenues and still do not have rail service.

They are served only by bus and paratransit (for the disabled) services. Even though they have been members since 1983, Carrollton and Farmers Branch will finally get rail service by 2010, and Rowlett will get it by 2012 (to be fair, Rowlett voted for bus-only service in 1983 when they joined).

One report stated that crime is a problem, especially where rail service terminates in very high crime areas. It said, “security on and around DART rail stations and major bus stops is so light to non-existent that it is not uncommon to hear of attacks on riders or robberies” and that riders are “often faced with large crowds of young riders from high crime areas, often who do not bother to buy tickets.”

That report also indicated that homeless people ride the bus for “warmth and handouts”.

DART has not been without financial problems. One report said that “In December 2007, DART revealed it was facing a $1 billion shortfall in funds earmarked for the Blue Line light rail service to Rowlett, Irving, and DFW Airport. In January 2008, DART announced that it would divert monies from rail lines being built in Dallas. When Dallas officials protested, DART president and executive director Gary Thomas - who had known about the shortfall for at least eight months - announced that the agency would borrow more money instead.”

It is not that expensive to use DART. Monthly passes range from $25 per month for the disabled to $80 for “premium” riders. This should be very attractive to most commuters, especially in comparison with the cost of operating a car. However, only a very small percentage of the population takes advantage of what is arguably subsidized transportation. It also appears to me that DART would probably not have the ridership that it does without the support of their bus service.

The leaders and planners of Tulsa and our surrounding communities would serve our citizens well by looking at both sides of this issue. There is plenty of evidence that light rail is clearly not the slam-dunk success its proponents say it is.

A Bit of Humor from George Carlin - Caution- STRONG LANGUAGE

Cap and Trade - Urgent!

I have one question for everyone who really believes in anthropogenic climate change. If we are truly causing climate change in the world, why aren't we trying to pass a cap and "fine" bill? In other words, put a cap on carbon dioxide and other toxic emissions as defined by the EPA, (which are in question by many climate scholars) and if they are exceeded, fine the entities, i.e the individuals and corporations responsible. Why this elaborate "scheme" (their own word) to set up this commodity on an exchange system that will auction credits to the highest bidder, distribute "free" carbon credits to some, which will then be able to be purchased by an evil "emitter" as an offset, and the trade of which will enrich the very few, Al Gore included, but definitely not the only one?  I personally find this to be a blatant distribution of wealth on a global scale.

Check out this video of President Obama and the anticipated cost of energy with this plan:

The New Financial Reform Bill?

Andrew Klavan neatly sums up the the scam of Obama's so called "financial regulation".

rew Klaven

DEMOCRACY DENIED

This is the Flow Chart of how the current administration has been circumventing the legislative branch of our government to move forward with their agendas on Cap and Trade, Internet Regulation, Union Card Check, Debt Commission and Offshore Drilling: This is an alarming manipulation of what we have come to trust as the checks-and-balances provided in the Constitution. And remember how the Health Care Reform Bill was pushed through in a process of "reconciliation". Apparently no majority vote is required anymore for passage of major legislation that affects each and every one of us.

JOEL ROGERS - ACKNOWLEDGING THAT CUTTING CARBON EMISSIONS WILL DO LITTLE FOR GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE

Video of Joel Rogers speaking about how little it would affect the planet even if the United States COMPLETELY halted all energy production, manufacturing and transportation. And some still say this is not a "hoax"? Interesting comments regarding how to get the metro areas to buy into this by convincing them to "go green" to create more jobs! Stimulus Money is PISSANT! They want public (OUR) money! They want to deal directly with cities, mayors, unions and labor - Politics for Jobs! What a slogan! And it is already happening here.

I looks like we may be getting to the bottom of all of this climate change hoax and who the people behind the scenes are who are pushing it. Thank you Fox News! Read the attached information on a newly discovered player in this "scheme".

INVOLVEMENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND

It is looking pretty clear to me from what I have been researching that I could be correct. Check out this site.

It is the INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND  and their scheme for a Green Fund. Carbon credits and certificates (bonds) will be the new currency. My question again is, after watching Lisa P. Jackson, director of the EPA, and her interview with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show last week, how soon will there be a market price put on carbon and what exactly was our commitment at the Copenhagen Accord?

It looks like they are pushing this all to start happening pretty fast. Look at the dates. We must do all that we can to stop this movement.

PLEASE DO NOT MISUNDERSTAND ME

I would like you to know that I am not against developing new technology that will help us find new sources of energy. On the contrary, we need to develop nuclear, natural gas, wind and solar in America. But the bottom line is coal, nuclear and fossil fuels will still be the cheapest and widest available energy resources we will be able to utilize in our generation. Ethanol is a farce, and will deplete our food resources and make them more expensive for us to purchase. It is just that the idea of "trading" carbon credits is a very bad idea.  Anyone with basic earth sciences knows that carbon dioxide is not a pollutant. On the contrary, this is what we exhale, and what plants and trees "breathe in" to produce oxygen, for US to live! All of this green technology and smart power and smart growth sounds good on the surface, but the people and motivations behind it are not "friendlies."

CAP AND TRADE - WE MUST STOP IT!

We need to understand how devastating this whole "climate change" scheme, that is quickly progressing through U.N. efforts, along with our administration and state department, will be to our very existence here in America as we know it. Cap and Trade is a dangerous proposal, read H.R. 2454 and S. 1733 and the CBO analysis.

I have been working on this issue for several months and if you did not know it, we are already seeing it right here in the Tampa Bay area. I see light rail as an early step towards that goal. You have to get all of the commissioners and senators, representatives, governor, all of them, to push against any type of movement towards it. If you are interested, I am gathering information on this topic. If you hear any of these key words "smart growth", "smart power", "green", "climate change", "global warming", "sustainability", "Agenda 21", "communitarianism", all of these are code words for the furtherance of their mission to redistribute wealth through carbon credits and "cap and trade". They are in the process of creating a whole new "currency" to be bought and sold between countries and corporations, with the "transaction fees" going to the few who buy ownership interest into the various Climate Exchanges throughout the world.

As an aside, did anyone see that former President Al Gore purchased a new home in Montecito, California for $8,875,000.00??? It looks like someone is getting richer with this scheme. I wonder if BHO thinks he has made enough money yet.
